Join Hornsby Connect and Pennant Hills Baptist Church in our ‘Donate a Box’ initiative to support community members in need. Your contribution can make a significant impact in helping vulnerable families.

Why Donate a Box?
Each box contains essential items valued at over $80, thanks to generous contributions from corporations, food manufacturers, supermarkets, and community members. These boxes are sold to those in need for just $15, making essential goods accessible to the most vulnerable. Your donation supports this critical effort, ensuring families receive necessary food and hygiene products at a significantly reduced cost.

About Hornsby Connect
Hornsby Connect, run entirely by volunteers, packs and distributes food boxes weekly to vulnerable people in the local area. Every Wednesday, clients can visit Hornsby Connect to select the boxes they need. These range from protein packs including meats, hygiene packs with toiletries and household cleaning supplies, to pantry staples including fruits, vegetables, rice, pasta, biscuits, and cereal.

What is the role of Pennant Hills Baptist Church?
The partnership that Pennant Hills Baptist Church has formed with Hornsby Connect is a practical way for members of the church to live out Jesus’ command to feed the hungry. Donations made through this page will be used to purchase food from Hornsby Connect for families in need who are supported by the church, at no cost to those families. All donations are greatly appreciated but we encourage you to consider donating a sufficient number of boxes, at $15 per box, to feed a family for a significant period of time. Donations are tax deductible. Please note that if PHBC donations are more than is needed to support families associated with the church, some funds may be used to support other Hornsby Connect clients. Any such use of PHBC donations would be at the discretion of the church.
